All things visual is the starting point of the criteria for our program. Our desire is to breed cattle with eye appeal and soundness that we and our customers can enjoy and appreciate. We start this process in making sure that we’ve covered all the bases with the soundness required for functionality, namely – disposition, structural soundness, hoof reliability and solidity, maternal instincts, udder quality, efficient fleshing ability, & fertility. With none of these distinctions emphasized over the other but rather all interwoven into a package with the promise of delivering success. In addition to this our attention then goes to sustainable mature frame size, depth of body, length of body, and muscling with attentiveness to carcass quality. We select bloodlines that will bring about this kind of make and model in our cattle; with which we desire KEY Ranch cattle to be recognized and sought after for.
